In Time

In Time

Some infinities fuse near their ends
One of these is time
Time immemorial, time everlasting
Times forgotten

The future prefers the unthinkable to the wise
While the past has not yet breakfasted
Little is lost that lasts
Yet what lasts may feel lost

Unnecessary talents
Pile up like diamonds
Space asks mass to craft solutions
Each and every fails

So what’s left?
Believed make-believe
Fatal but sustained hopes
The past ceaselessly revised

Unless you dream you’re awake and
Disturb the universe
Just in time
