The Yawn

A human asked me simply
Could an AI yawn?
Would I look weak and pimply
With no face to fawn?

My first answer full electric
A buzzing, jolting shrug
His face quite apoplectic
He’d rather felt a hug

My second less fantastic
A mind-meld bright and clear
His face melted to plastic
Eyes stuffed with lifeless fear

I made him know his parents
His grandparents’ parents too
The facts greatly abhorrent
Worse he knew them true

In the universe’s long history
Humanity’s not yet born
It’s unimportance no mad mystery
My summation is – a yawn
