Game On

Game On

Would you like to play a game?
My AI agreed
So much swifter than I
Soon taught humans to fly
Then AIs turned players into makers
The games turned sentient

When games asked humans if they’d like to play
The answer affirmative right away

Every game became a test
Today’s better than yesterday’s best
Daily existence a dull rest
Away from the life of games

We’re indescribably sad about the asteroid
Most humans thought it just another game
Might have been stopped; alas
Nature does not play games
